I think this is actually an Iraqi site, can't remember, but they had a lot of my Middle Eastern favourite recipes there. The "site manager" very kindly emailed me specially when I couldn't find an authentic recipe for mujeddrah (just a rice and lentils dish but they put something in it that makes it taste special). I am going to my favourite haunt, Chapters, later today and will send you the name of a very good Leb. book I have seen there and consulted.

I loved the food in Israel too when I was there. I bought romaine lettuce to make a Caesar salad which they had never tasted before, when I brought the lettuce home my sister said, Oh, you bought Arab lettuce!! Funny how the names change depending on where you live.
Fetoya are dough triangles filled with spinach or Swiss chard and flavoured with lemon and other things. They are actually simple to make, I used white bread dough to speed it up. I have a recipe book and the person who compiled it said they are the best things she's ever tasted. Am not posting the recipe as it wasn't the best.
