Shirley Sauce

Misc.

It is a light, almost a salsa type of sauce, made from ripe tomatoes, peppers, onions and a variety of spices, and use as a beef condiment. The recipe I had dated back to pre-WWI. Cooking time was appx. 5 hrs. The recipe will probably turn up when I clean out the attic or some other collecting spot, but my garden is telling me, NOW! Any help is appreciated.
