the parties over ....

Misc.

Hi all the party is OVER :)
turned out well and you all were a BIG help -- i made a combination of your efforts and Steppo as soon as i try the crepes i'll let you know .... they sound sooo good -- i did see your addendum too.

Well i did chicken breasts -- i pounded them with my mallot which is really a cubber i think -- i put them in a mixture of sunny delight, soy sauce & lemon juice to marinade for a bit.
I then filled them with a combination of cheeses and sour cream -- feta, mozerella parmesan and just a bit of yellow sharp rolled them up
then i rolled the rolled breast in sliced almonds that i had "crushed up"
placed them in a pan and a little of the marinade -- baked them long and low -- covered
1/2 way through i put the remaining filling mixture on top.

before sering i removed my foil and they still looked pretty -- i put them on platters and then topped with a little drizzle of this: warmed orange cherry marmelade and karo syrup.

They were VERY good but better had i been able to bake shorter and serve asap rather then this waiting game for the party to come but REALLY i'm just picky it was VERY good. I left them on warm while hubby and i enjoyed the homes before ours.

for sides i did a steamed mixed vege -- carrots, caluliflower & broc. speinkled w/lemon pepper & wild rice white rice and mushrooms as well ... YUM!

I set the table fancy I had found this GREAT piece of voil with gold angels on it--60 ich wide gave it a hem & i placed it over white felt and put my stained glass nativity on one table and the olive wood one on the other -- a good time had by all -- one gal played some carols and we played burgundy's Christmas game --
thanks all i would have never thought if stffed chicken w/o you help :)
