To Eggy and Christine, re: curry leaves

Thanks for both of your kind offers!

Although there's a big Asian influence in Honolulu, most of it is Northern Asian (Japanese, Chinese, Korean); or Thai/Vietnamese; or Filipino. There's very little available in the way of Indian, Pakistani, Malaysian, Indonesian, or Sri Lankan products.

I've seen cellophane packets of dried curry leaves, but never fresh ones, and never Southeast Asian curry powders containing dried leaves.

So, Eggy, I'd be delighted if you could mail me some Malaysian curry powder.

But Christine, unfortunately, I can't take you up on your offer for fresh curry leaves! It's not legal to bring or mail any fresh fruits, vegetables, plants, or seeds to Hawaii because of the agricultural quarantine. :-(
