You Are Very Welcome Nan...
Misc.Hi Nan,
You are most welcome with the information regarding Paula Deen's magazine. Do you watch her show every day also? She is a hoot!! I know you will just love her magazine!
I am so glad you are enjoying the seasonal photos that Betsy so graciously allows me to post...I do love to decorate. I am getting ready to decorate for Valentine's Day today. I will be doing the mantle in a whimsical Mary Engelbreit syle. As for the English buffet in the dining room, I like to put out all the vintage, mismatched, rose motiff serving plates, cups, saucers and bowls that I have been so lucky to find at yard sales. The display is quite beautiful and romantic.
For the front door I will put real flowers and trailing ivy into a plastic lined, white, "shabby chic" metal heart container that hangs on the door. I will wet some spaghnum moss and surround the plants with that. Since the door color is crimson, I needed to put something that would stand out against the color.
In the kitchen, I usually just put out a huge, red, tin- metal tray on the center island and fill that with red and green apples.
As soon as everything is done, I will take pics and post them along with a nice recipe in "What's for Dinner".
I have been busy the last day planning the menu for our SuperBowl Party...not an easy task because there are so many yummy things to serve! But I should be able to post the party menu by at least Thursday...
Are you planning a special meal for Valentine's?
Hugs, Gina
