Recipe: Dearest Gina: Excuse my interruption but today I feel well & I will like

Misc.
to give you a general idea (from a Caribbean lady's point of view) of lovely Costa Rica.

I have entertained the idea of buying a summer home there for a long time but I am afraid of political inestability.

Costa Rica is similar to our Caribbean countries but as it is less modernized, it still looks like a magical garden or forest. The architecture is Spanish (European) & the hotels are beautiful but not expensive at all. The people have our traditional warmth & hospitality. Costarricences have the particular joy de vivre that you can find in our small Caribbean islands.

The food is excellent & they serve a particular rum of great potency. If they serve liquor they will accompany it with some sort of tapas (called BOCAS), completely free of charge, because they do not want guests to drink too much.

I have not been there in more than 10 years, therefore, things might be more expensive now, but anyway it is a place worth visiting.

Good luck with your trip.
