Recipe: Rice Krispies Candy (5)

Rice Krispies Candy

2 lb. white chocolate
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. Rice Krispies
2 c. miniature marshmallows
2 c. Spanish peanuts (salted, optional)

Melt chocolate in double boiler or microwave (High 5 or 6 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Make sure it is very hot!). While hot, add other ingredients in order given: peanut butter, Rice Krispies, marshmallows and peanuts. Mix well after each addition. Press in greased (butter) jelly roll pan or cookie sheet. Cut when cool. (If you want creamier marshmallows, add them after the peanut butter, before the Rice Krispies. Also, if nuts are omitted, you might want to add a little salt.)

Rice Krispies Candy

3 c. miniature marshmallows
3 c. peanut butter
5 oz. pkg. peanut or butterscotch morsels
3 c. Rice Krispies

Melt peanut butter, morsels and marshmallows over low heat, stirring constantly. Mash Rice Krispies as fine as possible in a greased pan or platter. Pour the melted mixture over crushed Rice Krispies. Make sure the melted mixture goes
through the Krispies layer. Cool 10 to 15 minutes and cut in squares.

Chocolate Rice Krispies Candy

1/2 pkg. almond bark chocolate
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. Rice Krispies
2 c. dry roasted peanuts
2 c. marshmallows

Melt chocolate and peanut butter. Add Rice Krispies, peanuts and marshmallows. Mix and drop by teaspoonfuls on waxed paper.

Rice Crispy Candy

1 lb. pkg. almond bark
1 c. crunchy peanut butter
2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
2 1/2 c. dry roasted peanuts, crushed
2 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows

Melt together almond bark and peanut butter in a double boiler. Stir together Rice Krispies, peanuts and marshmallows. Stir together and drop by teaspoon on waxed paper and let cool. Makes 5 dozen.

Rice Krispy Peanut Butter Balls

6 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1 pkg. mini marshmallows
1/4 c. chunky peanut butter
8 Tbsp. margarine
3/4 c. Heath Brand Bits 'O Brickle toffee candy chips

Combine marshmallows, peanut butter and margarine in a saucepan or deep kettle. Stir continually over medium heat until mixture is smooth. Turn burner off, but leave pan on warm burner. Combine toffee chips and Krispies cereal in separate bowl. Quickly stir Krispies mixture into creamed batter. Take a small plastic sandwich baggie and butter outside of it good. Use this as a glove to form batter in 2-inch round balls. Drop on waxed paper to cool until very firm, about 2 hours.
