MONKEY BREAD
(Easy Recipe)
1 cup light brown sugar
1 stick (1/2 cup) oleo (margarine)
1/2 cup water
3 cans biscuits
6 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
In small pan, mix the brown sugar, oleo (margarine) and water. Boil until slightly syrupy; set aside.
Cut one can biscuits at a time into fourths.
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bag. Shake cut biscuits in sugar-cinnamon mixture in bag to coat. Place in buttered tube pan.
Pour 1/3 syrup over biscuits. Repeat with 2 more cans biscuits and other 2/3 of syrup.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Cool 5 minutes in pan. Invert on dish.
