Recipe: Deep, Dark Chocolate Cake (2) - re: Wegmans Ultimate Chocolate Cake

Hi Bunny! Here is some info about the search for Wegmans Ultimate Chocolate Cake and a couple of recipes to try:

Ultimate Chocolate Cake - A Look Back (Wegmans blog)

As you know, there was a recipe contest to find the Ultimate Chocolate Cake and, according to the blog, the cake chosen was a recipe from Libby McGinley for Deep, Dark Chocolate Cake. The article mentions that the recipe was a "home-style, classic chocolate cake" and uses cocoa.

Also, someone posting comments to the article mentioned that they thought the recipe was in the Fall, 2006 issue of Wegman's Menu magazine. I do remember having an issue with the cake on the cover but unfortunately I can't find my copy :-( Hopefully someone will have a copy and will share the recipe if it is in it.
