Recipe(tried): 3 Minute Delightful Poppy Cake

3 MINUTE DELIGHTFUL POPPY CAKE

3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
1 1/4 cups oil
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 (10 oz) jar baker/solo poppyseed filling*

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a tube pan**.

Sift together the dry ingredients.

Add the milk, oil, egg, and vanilla; mix until smooth.

Add poppy seed filling and beat well on medium speed of mixer for 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, 10 minutes or until tested done. Cool cake before removing from pan.

*Apricot, nut, prune, or date filling may be substituted for the poppyseed filling.

**Some recipes call for baking in an ungreased pan.
