A Simple Dressing
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup oil
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 small onion, minced
1/3 cup ketchup
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp paprika
1 scant tsp salt
Beat all ingredients together with a rotary beater or wire beater. Or you can put it in a jar, cover and shake well. This is a fine dressing to use on lettuce and fresh tomatoes.
