Recipe: Apple and Kraut Pork Chops (baked with raisins and walnuts)

Main Dishes - Assorted
I found this recipe at the site of Flanagan's Krrrrsp Kraut parent company. I'm not sure if it was ever on the package label, but it sure sounds delicious. Hope it's what you want.

APPLE AND KRAUT PORK CHOPS

4 (1-inch thick) pork chops
2 apples
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1 (14.4 oz.) can undrained Silver Floss Sauerkraut (or one 32 oz. bag Krrrrisp Kraut, drained)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In skillet. brown chops on both sides for 15 minutes or until brown. Place in 9x13-inch greased baking pan.

Peel, core and coarsely chop apples. In medium bowl, combine apples, raisins, walnuts, brown sugar, nutmeg, and sauerkraut Mix well. Divide mixture evenly and mound on pork chops
Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until fork tender.
