4 cups sifted flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup raisins
1 cup currants
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Sift flour with salt and baking soda. Cream butter well with sugar, stir in dry ingredients and raisins. Put into 9 inch, greased cake pan, and bake 45-50 minutes in 350 degree F. oven.
