ARIGATO'S HAPPY-HAPPY SAUCE

1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup water
4 tbs sweet miso* (fermented bean paste, found in Oriental Markets)
1 tbs soy sauce
2 tbs tomato paste or ketchup
Combine all ingredients well. Pour into small individual bowls for dipping, as done in Japanese steak houses for grilled steaks, chicken, grilled vegetables, etc. Posted by: Steve

1 cup toasted sesame seeds
6 Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 cup rice vinegar
3 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp vegetable oil
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sweet miso* (fermented bean paste, found in Oriental Markets)
Toast the sesame seeds in a hot skillet, shaking constantly to prevent burning. In a food processor or blender, add sesame seeds with remaining ingredients. Blend until sauce is smooth; add water to thin to desired consistency.
*You can find miso in oriental markets; you can't leave it out.
