Recipe(tried): Double Cheese Crab Dip
Appetizers and SnacksDOUBLE CHEESE CRAB DIP
1 cup Pace Picante Sauce OR Chunky Salsa
1 tsp. chili powder
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated pasteurized crabmeat
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sliced pitted ripe olives
Pace Picante Sauce
TO SERVE:
pita triangles, tortilla chips or fresh vegetables for dipping
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix picante sauce and chili powder. Spread cream cheese in 9" pie plate. Top with picante sauce mixture, crabmeat, Cheddar cheese, olives and additional picante sauce.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 minutes or until hot.
Serve with pita triangles, tortilla chips or fresh vegetables for dipping.
Tip: To soften cream cheese, remove from wrapper. On microwave-safe plate, microwave on HIGH 15 seconds.
