Recipe: Coca-Cola Barbecue Sauce (using catsup, onion and garlic)

COCA-COLA BARBECUE SAUCE

2 tbsp butter
1 onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 cups catsup
3/4 cup Coca-Cola
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp wine vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 bay leaves

Melt butter in medium saucepan over med-low heat. Add onion and cook 1 minute.

Add garlic and cook 4 minutes longer. Do not brown.

Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour.

Brush on chicken during final 10-15 minutes of grilling.
