Aunt Velma’s Cherry Dessert
Crust:
1 cup flour
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 cup pecans
Filling:
1 8-ounce package Philadelphia Cream Cheese (room temperature)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 package dream whip (with milk)
Cherry pie fillingCrust:
1. Mix all ingredients and spread in large baking dish. Press down and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.Filling:
1. Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar.
2. Fold dream whip in with sugar and cheese.
3. Pour over crust and add cherry (or other) pie filling.Source: Aunt Velma Jacobs
