Recipe(tried): Baking and assembling a large cake - Try This

Desserts - Cakes
jirehPA,

Wilton makes a really large sheet cake pan, but it is too large for many modern ovens. It would be easier to use a 9x13 cake pan, and make as many as necessary (four maybe?) Have someone cut you a piece of plywood the size you you need, and cover it with aluminum foil, or colored cake foil, to use as your cake plate. The cake will be much too heavy for a cardboard type board. Arrange the 9x13 cakes side by side in the shape you desire. Possibly two rows of two cakes for you Bible. Ice the sides that touch to hold them in place, and use more frosting to fill in and level the surface and outside edges. Then decorate! Hope this is helpful.
