1 cup ketchup
1 cup vinegar
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp liquid smoke
1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp Tabasco pepper sauce

Combine all ingredients in saucepan over high heat. Blend with a whisk until smooth. When it comes to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered. In 30 to 45 minutes. When it has thickened, remove from heat. If you overcook and make it too thick, add more vinegar.

Coat ribs with sauce (reserve some sauce for later). Wrap ribs in foil.

Bake in 300 degrees F oven for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Remove from foil, smother ribs with sauce and grill 2 to 4 minutes on each side.
