Recipe: Baste for Grilled Chicken

Toppings - Assorted
Baste for Grilled Chicken
rec.food.recipes/Laurice Cox (1995)

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup oil
juice of 1 lemon
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 medium onion, minced
salt and pepper

Bring all to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat and let simmer 30 minutes or so. Baste chicken while grilling.
