Recipe(tried): Beef and Rice Spirals (using Cheez-Whiz)

Main Dishes - Beef and Other Meats
This doesn't have green peppers, but I'm sure you could add them if you like! It's one of my hubby's favorites!

BEEF AND RICE SPIRALS

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1/4 cup barbeque sauce (plus 1 tbsp), divided use
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups hot cooked rice
1 cup Cheez-Whiz, divided use
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Combine and mix lightly beef, bread crumbs, 1/4 cup barbeque sauce, egg, and salt. Pat mixture out in 10x12 inch rectangle.

Combine rice, 1/4 cup cheese, and parsley; spread over meat. Roll meat jelly-roll fashion. Wrap securely in foil, refrigerate overnight.

When ready to bake, cut into 8 slices and arrange in baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Heat remaining cheese with 1 tbsp barbeque sauce and use to top meatloaf slices.
