Beefy Mac and Cheese with Mushroom Soup

1 boxed macaroni & cheese
1/2 lb. of hamburger
1/2 white onion, chopped
garlic salt
black pepper
1 can of Cream of Mushroom soup

Cook the macaroni according to package directions. While it is cooking, fry the hamburger and onions with seasonings. When hamburger is done add Mushroom soup and cover to heat through. (Reduce heat). Drain macaroni and return to the pan they were cooked in. Add about 1/2 cube of butter or margarine, cheese mix and hamburger, onion and mushroom soup mixture. Stir well and serve.
