BISHOP SHEEN'S MEAT LOAF
2 pounds ground beef
1 cup chopped onions
6 slices bread, crumbled
1 cup chopped green peppers
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup applesauce
1 egg
chopped fresh Parsley (to taste)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Flour
Catsup (for topping)
Place meat in a bowl, add onions, bread, green pepper, garlic, applesauce, parsley, salt, and pepper. Form into loaf and flour well.
Oil pan and place loaf in it. Add catsup on top of loaf.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 2 hours, uncovering for last 15 minutes.
