Recipe(tried): Boxed Lunch Ideas for Party

Holidays, Celebrations
Hi Phyllis. I used to work at a sandwich shop which also had a booming catering business featuring boxed lunches. There were probably a dozen sandwich choices, each came with 2 different side dishes. The choices of side were potato salad, pasta salad, cole slaw, chips and cottage cheese. The lunches were packaged in plain white boxes made for that purpose. Inside was first placed a colorful piece of tissue paper, opened up so all the other items were placed to be wrapped in it. So the lunch would include the sandwich, 2 sides, a homemade cookie, a mint, a large napkin and a fork. The napkin went on top, then the tissue paper was wrapped over everything, the box closed. The top of each box had a sticker with the business's name and the name of the sandwich. All the sandwiches had cute names, like The 3 Little Pigs Ham Sandwich, or The Dagwood Big Sandwich. I also think a fruit cup would be nice. If you wanted to make it fancier, you could hollow out an orange or a grapefruit use it instead of a bowl for a fruit salad. Good Luck.
