Recipe: Brown Rice O'Brien

Side Dishes - Rice, Grains
BROWN RICE O'BRIEN

1 cup chopped green onions with tops
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cups hot cooked brown rice (cooked in broth, if desired)
3 tablespoons chopped pimientos
Salt and freshly ground pepper

Saute onions and green pepper in oil until crisp-tender.

Add rice and pimientos. Toss lightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Makes 6 servings
