Recipe: Brownie Mix Biscotti (not quite the recipe you are looking for, Suzanne)
Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, BarsHi Suzanne:-) This is the closest recipe I could find when doing a search for your recipe. I hope it might help.
BROWNIE MIX BISCOTTI
1 box (1 pound, 5 ounces) brownie mix
3 cups (12 ounces) whole almonds, walnut halves or pecan halves
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons water or milk
3/4 teaspoon almond extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 13-by-9-by-2-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Line bottom and sides of the pan with foil, leaving a 2-inch overhang on short sides.
In a large bowl, stir together brownie mix (dry) and almonds (if brownie mix contains packet of chocolate syrup, save syrup for another use).
Stir eggs, water and almond extract into mix until the ingredients are moistened and a stiff batter forms. With a spatula, spread batter in the prepared pan.
Bake 35 minutes or until the cake is firm to the touch. Using the foil overhangs, carefully remove the cake from the pan to a wire rack. Let cool 5 minutes.
Cut in half lengthwise, scoring the surface with a serrated knife and completing the cutting with a large, sharp knife. Cut crosswise, into 3/4-inch thick slices. Place brownies, cut- side down, on large baking sheet.
Bake 23 to 25 minutes, until biscotti slices are crisp. Transfer to wire rack; let cool.
