Recipe: butcher block oil

Misc.
You do NOT want to use vegetable oil on your butcher block or cutting board. If you research this you will find that most board makers recommend mineral oil as a preservative. It looks like beeswax is also used in c combo recipe for this type oil. Many commercial preparations are also available. Vegetable oil will turn rancid on your butcher block. It is a no-no to use that.
