Recipe: Butterscotch Cookie Bars (using butterscotch chips)

BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIE BARS

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup chopped nuts
2 cups butterscotch morsels
1 cup shredded coconut
1 1/4 cups sweetened condensed milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Melt butter in 9-inch square baking pan in preheating oven.

Remove from oven. Sprinkle crumbs over butter; mix well. Press onto bottom of pan.

Sprinkle with nuts, morsels and coconut.

Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over coconut; do not stir.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.

Makes 36 bars
