Recipe(tried): Chicken and Dumplings

It sounds like you are talking about chicken and dumplings.

Just boil the chicken until almost done. Remove and cut up into bite size pieces (if you didn't cut up beforehand)and return to broth. REmove some of the fat (of course)

To make the dumplings, make a biscuit dough, roll out and cut into squares about 1 or 1 1/2 inch square. Drop dumplings in with chicken and cook until both chicken and dumplings are done.

Season to taste.

Sorry I can't give you an exact recipe.
