Recipe: Chocolate Coconut Crunchers (using cake mix, cereal, and oats)

1 package Pillsbury Plus German Chocolate Cake mix
1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup crushed corn flakes or other cereal flakes
1 cup rolled oats, uncooked
1 (6-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In large bowl, combine cake mix, butter and eggs; mix well. Add coconut, walnuts, cornflakes, rolled oats and chocolate chips; mix well. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten with glass dipped in sugar.
Bake 8-12 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets.
Makes 60 cookies
