Coffee Soda

2 cups brewed dark roast coffee, chilled
1 cup club soda
4 small scoops vanilla ice cream
whipped cream (optional)
freshly grated nutmeg, ground cinnamon or cocoa powder (optional)

Divide the coffee between 2 tall glasses. Pour in half the club soda and 2 scoops ice cream to each.

Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg, cinnamon or cocoa. Serve immediately with a straw and long spoon in each glass.
