Recipe: Crab Slaw

Hi Tammy:

Here is the recipe for Crab Slaw which I found in Justin Wilson's cookbook.
I have tried many recipes from this book.

Crab Slaw

1 small head cabbage shredded
1 cup thinly sliced bell pepper
2 medium size onions, sliced thin into half rings
1 pound white crabmeat picked over for shells
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4 tablespoons mayonaise
Salt to taste
Louisiana hot sauce or ground cayenne pepper to taste

In a large salad bowl, combine the cabbage, bell pepper, onions and crabmeat.
Mix well and refrigerate. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, garlic powder, mayonaise, salt and hot sauce. Pour the dressing over
the vegetables and mix until coated. Serve immediately or refrigerate until
ready to serve. Yields 8 to 10 servings
