Recipe: Oven Burger (baked in a pie plate)

OVEN BURGER

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 small green bell pepper, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
1 small onion, chopped (about 1/4 cup)
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/3 cup chili sauce or ketchup (for topping)

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix all ingredients except chili sauce. Press mixture in ungreased pie plate, 9 x 1 1/4-inches. Spread chili sauce or ketchup over top.

Bake uncovered 45 to 50 minutes or until done; drain. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut into wedges.

Makes 6 servings
