Recipe: Crazy Quilt Salad (bean salad)

CRAZY QUILT SALAD

FOR THE SALAD:
1 (16 oz) can kidney beans rinsed and drained
1 (15 oz) can lima beans, rinsed and drained
1 (14 1/2 oz) can green beans, drained
1 (14 1/2 oz) can wax beans drained
1 cup thinly sliced celery
1 large green pepper, chopped
1/2 cp thinly sliced onions
FOR THE DRESSING:
1/3 cup vinegar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. ground mustard
1 tsp. dried thyme
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Place the ingredients for the salad in a large bowl.

Combine dressing ingredients; mix well. Pour over bean mixture toss gently. Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight, stirring occasionally.

Makes 10-12 servings
