Recipe: Cream Cheese Bundt Cake

Desserts - Cakes
Dear JoePie,
Here is a cream cheese pound cake that is baked in a Bundt pan that matches your ingredients, although it does not call for the blueberries. Maybe it will help.

CREAM CHEESE BUNDT CAKE

1 1/2 cups butter, softened (or 1 cup shortening and 1/2 cup butter)
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups cake flour or all purpose flour, sifted
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease a 10-inch Bundt or tube pan well.

Cream butter and cream cheese together. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

Combine flour and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in vanilla. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done. Cool in pan 10-15 minutes then turn out onto rack and cool completely.
