CREAMED HAM
2 cups ham, cooked and cubed
1/2 cup sliced onions
1/4 cup butter
4 tablespoons flour
1 pint (2 cups) sour cream
1 (4 oz) can mushrooms
hot cooked rice (to serve)
Saute ham and onions in butter until onion is tender, not brown.
Add flour and then sour cream gradually. Stir in mushrooms. Cover and simmer over low heat several minutes until thickened.
Serve over steamed rice.
Servings: 4
