Creamsicle Cake (9x13)

1 box lemon cake mix, with eggs, oil, and water as directed on pkg
1 small envelope orange Koolaid
2 (3 oz) pkgs orange Jell-O, divided
1 (3 oz) pkg of vanilla instant pudding
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip

Bake cake in 9x13' pan as directed on box. When done, use a meat fork to poke holes across the top of the entire cake. Let cool.

Mix 1 box of Jell-O with 1 cup hot water and 1 cup cold water. Pour over top of cake. Be patient - may need to let it "rest" briefly when it seems saturated. Don't worry if it pools slightly around the edges, it will absorb. May not accept the whole bowl of Jell-O. Refrigerate cake for 2 - 3 hours.

Stir together the remaining box of Jell-O powder and the pudding powder. Mix in milk and vanilla, beat well. Fold in Cool Whip, and spread on cake. Keep refrigerated.
