JAMBOREE CHILI
8 ounces extra-lean ground sirloin beef or turkey breast
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (16 ounce) can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15 ounce) can Hunt's tomato sauce
1 cup chunky salsa (mild, medium or hot)
1 teaspoon chili seasoning
In a medium saucepan sprayed with olive oil-flavored cooking spray, brown meat and onion.
Add kidney beans, tomato sauce, salsa and chili seasoning. Mix well to combine. Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Yield: 4 (1 cup) servings
