Recipe(tried): cutting pineapple, plantation-style

Tips and Tricks - Cooking
I just came back from Hawaii a couple months ago and watched how they slice pineapples in chunks at the plantation. You cut the top green off the pineapple then slice the pineapple in half. Then you take a knife they had bent for the pineapple..to me it reminded me of what we use for a grapefruit knife..then you under the pineapple next to the rind of it. then you cut slices for chunks by scoring straight across down then opposite way across then you have your chunks..
