Recipe(tried): Easy Pineapple Pasta Salad

EASY PINEAPPLE PASTA SALAD

1 (18 oz) pkg bow tie pasta
2 cans pineapple chunks, drained (reserve 2 tablespoons of juice)
2 cups (bite-size chunks) cooked smoked or honey ham
3 medium carrots, shredded
1 (16 oz) can black olives, drained and sliced
1/2 cup mayonnaise
salt and pepper (to taste)

Add pasta to a 6 quart pot of boiling water cook for 10 minutes. Drain and cool.

In a large salad bowl add pasta, pineapple chunks with 2 tablespoons juice, ham, carrots, and black olives; mix together gently.

Then add mayonnaise, salt, and pepper; mix again.

This recipe is great when your cooking outdoors on a hot summer day!!!! Hope you enjoy it, my family sure does!!!!
