Recipe: Eggless Chocolate Cake

Misc.
WACKY CAKE
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. melted shortening
Mix all ingredients together and pour into oblong
greased and floured pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Wacky Cake Icing:
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. milk
1/2 stick oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
Place all ingredients in pan. Boil 1 minute. Pour over
cool cake.
