EGGLESS SUGAR COOKIES
2 c. shortening or butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. sour milk
2 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. hot water
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tsp. vanilla or other flavor
8 c. flour
Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Slowly add
sour milk (sour it by adding 1 tablespoon vinegar to sweet milk). Dissolve soda in water and add with salt to milk mix.
Add flour, a few cups at a time until a stiff cookie dough forms. Divide dough into thirds. Roll each into a ball. Roll out on floured board to 1/4-inch thick. Cut with a 4 to 6-inch cutter or a can. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheets at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Frost or decorate your favorite way.

Mix all ingredients and roll into a long roll. Freeze
cookie roll and slice. Bake in 375 degrees oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
