Recipe(tried): Fix for Jam that Won't Jell

Preserving - Jams, Jellies
Take your strawberry "chunky syrup" put it in a saucepan, add 2-3 cups sugar. Heat until sugar dissolves; add 1 tsp. lemon juice, and 1/4 tsp unsalted butter. Bring to rolling boil. Add 1 pouch liquid pectin, return to full boil. Boil and stir 1 minute. Ladle into containers and refrigerate or ladle into hot jars and process in hot water bath 15 minutes. You should get a nice soft-seet jam. :0)
