Recipe(tried): Blue Raspberry Jam

Preserving - Jams, Jellies
I have experimented in creating many kinds of jams over the years and this is the one that always brings raves.

BLUE RASPBERRY JAM
Yield: about 3 pints

7 cups crushed blueberries
2 cups crushed raspberries
6 cups sugar

Combine berries and sugar in a large sauce pot. Bring slowly to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.

Cook rapidly to a jellying point. As mixture thickens, stir frequently to prevent sticking.

Pour hot into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch head space.

Process 15 minutes in boiling water bath.
