Recipe(tried): Freezing casseroles

Chris, with a frozen casseroles I make it ahead of time, then freeze it and bake it after pulling it out of the freezer (you also want to at least partially defrost before baking).

I have found that a frozen lasagna or other casseroles take at least 24 hours in my fridge to defrost, so I sometimes pull out two or more items on Sunday night for the week ahead.

You may also notice that frozen items get more "liquidy," so you may have to experiment with sauce/liquid amounts. I have found success in this area by undercooking whatever noodles I use so they can absorb any extra liquid during baking and so they don't get overcooked in the oven.
