Recipe: Frisch's Tartar Sauce clone

Even though the chef who created the below recipe claims it's not a clone of Frisch's, I'm told that it is quite close by those who've tried it.

Tartar Sauce (like Frisch's)

2 cups mayonnaise
1/2 lemon, juice of
2 Tbsp horseradish
2 Tbsp minced onion,
scallions, or shallots
2 Tbsp minced red or
green pepper, sweet or hot
1/4 cup minced dill pickle/gherkins/capers
1 clove garlic, minced
2 hard cooked eggs, yolks mashed, whites chopped
1 dash Tabasco Sauce
1/3 cup catsup

Combine all ingredients in a glass bowl. Mix well and chill well before using.

Makes 3 cups
