Recipe(tried): Fruit Cocktail Pie (Try Crushed Pineapple instead) for Tammy

Desserts - Pies and Tarts
Tammy,
This is a repost of an old recipe that my Mom used to make and I have made it often also. I thought that you could substitute the Fruit Cocktail for Crushed Pineapple. Otherwise it seems like what you are looking for. Hope this helps. Judy

FRUIT COCKTAIL PIE

25 marshmallows (will not work with stale/hard ones)
1/2 cup milk
1 cup whipping cream
1 (20 ounce) can fruit cocktail, drained
1/2 cup butter, softened
10 graham crackers, crushed

Dissolve the marshmallows in milk in double boiler. Cool.

Add fruit to whipped cream and fold into the cooled marshmallows.

Line a 9x9-inch pan with a mixture of the butter and crackers. Pour in the fruit mixture. Sprinkle a little graham crumbs on top. Refrigerate 2-3 hours.
