Recipe(tried): Make Ahead Apple Pie Filling (freezer)

Desserts - Pies and Tarts
I also make my apple pie filling ahead, but I freeze the desired amount of filling in a freezer bag, laying them flat, so when they are completely frozen, I can stand them up side by side in my freezer. It takes up so much less room, and you don't have to worry about breaking the crust.
