Recipe(tried): Gary's Baked Potatoes

My best friend's son, Gary, is a great cook and helps his mom, Pat, by preparing meals for the family. This is one of his 'original' creations.

GARY'S BAKED POTATOES

Bake potatoes, in microwave, until desired doneness. If you don't have a microwave, use your oven.

After baking, cut potatoes about 3/4 of the way through, like a grid (or tic-tac-toe) design; approximately 1/2-inch squares.

Squeeze GENTLY on the bottom to open the potato.
Put margarine (or butter) into the crevices. Sprinkle with Lawry's Seasoned Salt and Garlic Pepper (or Garlic Salt or Lemon Pepper; or whatever herb blend suits your fancy.)

Sprinkle shredded cheese on top... and LOTS of it. Gary and his family prefer the Mexican Blend, but Taco Blend or Pizza Blend is good, also.

Put back into microwave for 20-30 seconds, or until cheese is melted.
