German appetizers - We slice a good quality ring bologna into thin slices & marinate in white vinegar & thinly sliced onions. It is like a sweet/sour. Be sure you cover the mixture with liquid. Serve with crackers. We cook the bologna & have a hot meal of it & I usually marinate the left over slices for snacks. I have also had it served with small cubes of ham & sliced onions. If you don't like it quite so sour, perhaps use 3 parts white vinegar & 1 part water, or half & half. This keeps quite well in frig.
